The Gateway Hotel Surat

Our place is located over in the Durgapur area, specifically around those 2005 and 2008 plots. Being a hotel in Surat means there is always someone coming or going. It is a lot of cleaning, checking people in, and making sure the rooms are ready. The staff here mostly lives nearby or commutes from other parts of the city. It gets noisy sometimes with the events or just the general buzz of guests. We do not have some big corporate speech to give. It is just a building where people stay when they are traveling for work or visiting family. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because things break when you have so many people using them. The carpets need vacuuming and the lights need changing. It is a 24-hour kind of job. You never really turn the lights off here. Sometimes the lobby is empty and quiet, and other times it is full of luggage and people asking questions. We just try to keep things organized. The Durgapur location is okay for getting around the city. We see a lot of regular faces who come back every few months. It is just a regular hotel trying to keep things running smooth without too much fuss. We focus on the basics like clean sheets and working air conditioning because that is what actually matters to people staying here. Some days are more chaotic than others, but we just take it as it comes.
