Texfab India is based out of Plot 5716 on Road 57 in the GIDC Sachin Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to the GIDC area, you know how it is—lots of trucks, narrow roads, and a constant hum of activity. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. Our building is a typical industrial setup, designed for work rather than looks. We do a lot of textile fabrication here, so there’s always rolls of fabric and various machines running. It gets pretty busy, especially when we have big batches to get through. The air usually smells like thread and machinery oil. We aren’t a big company with hundreds of people; we’re a smaller group that just knows how to handle the fabric. Most of our day is spent on the floor making sure the machines are behaving. Sometimes they break down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. It’s just part of the job. People who work in the estate know us as the guys on Road 57. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. We just focus on the orders we have on the desk. The office is small and usually has samples lying around everywhere. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the schedule. We don't let much slow us down here.
