Talk & Talk Mobile World

Down in Salabatpura, near the Gurbhai Yadav Chawl, you’ll find us at 7/1541 on Kherani Road. It’s a very active part of Yadav Nagar, and there is always a lot of shouting and talking going on outside our door. Our shop, Talk & Talk Mobile World, is right in the middle of all that energy and noise. We deal with all kinds of mobile phones, mostly selling recharge cards and doing small repairs for people who live in the neighborhood. The space is quite narrow, so we have to be careful where we put things so people don't trip over. It’s a place where people often stop by just to have a chat while they wait for their phone to charge or get a new screen put on. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the families living in the chawl. It can get pretty hot and humid in the summer, but we keep the shop open late most nights because that's when people are coming home from work and need things. We have a lot of different posters on the walls for various phone deals, but half of them are probably out of date by now. It’s not a fancy showroom like you see in the mall, just a practical spot for folks to get their mobile needs sorted out. We like being part of the local community here on Kherani Road and seeing the familiar faces.
