Taj Travels

Our shop is D/5 in the Dumbal Tenament area of Limbayat. We are right opposite the water tank, which is the easiest way to tell people where to find us in Limbayat Mithi Khali. This is a very local part of Surat, 394210, and it feels like everyone knows each other. At Taj Travels, the door is usually open to let a bit of a breeze in, even if it brings in some of the dust from the street. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a room with some desks where we handle travel papers and bookings. People stop by on their way home to ask about prices or to see if a bus is running on a certain day. We spend a lot of time on the phone, as you would expect for this kind of work. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a minute while we are working. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have any fancy brochures or big screens on the walls. We just use our pens and computers to get things organized. It’s a practical way to run a business. Dealing with the heat and the noise of the water tank area is just part of the job. We are just local people helping other local people with their travel needs, keeping it as simple and honest as we can every single day.
