You’ll find us situated at Athawaline Parle Point, right near Ambika Niketan in Surat. It’s a well-known corner of the city, and we’ve been part of this landscape for quite some time. The area around Parle Point is always active, and we get a lot of people coming through for various reasons. Working here is interesting because you see all sorts of folks. We don’t really try to act like we’re something we aren’t. It’s a hotel, and our job is to make sure the rooms are ready and the food is decent. We have a team that stays pretty busy with the daily chores that come with a place this size. It’s not all glamour like people think. There’s a lot of cleaning, fixing things, and making sure the kitchen is stocked. We like being near Ambika Niketan because it’s a landmark everyone knows. Our staff is mostly local people who live around Surat, so we have a pretty relaxed way of doing things. We don’t use those scripted corporate greetings. We just say hello and help you out with your luggage or your room key. It’s a big building, but we try to keep the atmosphere feeling like a regular place where you can just rest. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day. It’s a solid, practical operation and we’re happy to be here at the Gateway.
