Our shop is in G-11 at the Raghuvir Textile Mall near Aaimata Chowk. Parvat Patiya is a really crowded area, especially on the weekends when everyone is out. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just step in when they are passing by. The mall itself is huge, but our spot is small and tucked away. We have boxes stacked in the corners that we haven't found a permanent home for yet. Most days involve a lot of folding and refolding because things get messy quickly. We spend a lot of time chatting with the other shop owners in the hallway. Magob is a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside. Sometimes the mall lights flicker, but we just ignore it and keep working. We aren't looking to be the biggest store around. We just like having our own little corner here in the mall. In the afternoons, it gets pretty loud when the market crowd picks up. We’ve seen many businesses come and go, but we have stayed right here at G-11 for a while. We do all our own inventory, usually staying late on Tuesday nights with a notebook and a pen. It is a lot of manual work, but we are used to it. No fancy computers for us, just keeping track of things by hand.
