Surat Travels Insurance & Investments is on the 2nd floor of the Golden Plaza Textile Market. The room number is 2006. Being in the middle of a textile market on Ring Road means things are always hectic. There are people carrying bundles of cloth everywhere and the hallways are usually full. We are near the Kinnary Cinema, which is how most people find their way to the building. Up here on the second floor, we deal with a mix of travel plans, insurance, and investment stuff. It is a bit of a weird mix, but it’s what we do. People from the market come in when they have a spare thirty minutes to talk about their money or a trip they want to take. The office is usually a bit messy with forms and files because there is a lot of paperwork in this line of work. We aren't trying to look like a big bank or a fancy travel agency. It is just a workspace where we get things done between tea breaks and phone calls. Ring Road is always loud outside, but you get used to it after a few months of working here. We’ve been in Golden Plaza for a while now and we know the other guys on this floor. It’s just a regular office life in a very busy part of Surat, where we try to keep up with everything that comes through the door.
