Surat Refrigeration & Enng. Company

Our shop is located at Plot No. J G 31 in the Japan Market. It is right across from the Linear Bus Stand on Ring Road, so you can imagine how noisy it gets around here. There is a constant sound of buses pulling in and out and people shouting. Surat Refrigeration & Enng. Company has been operating from this spot for quite some time. The market is always crowded, which makes it a bit of a challenge when we are trying to move large pieces of equipment in and out. Our workspace is usually covered in oil and metal shavings because we do a lot of the heavy engineering work right here on site. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear nice clothes. We focus on getting the machinery running again, whether it is a small cooling unit or something much larger. The guys here don't talk much, they just get on with the task at hand. We have a lot of regular customers who come to us because they know we are right here on the Ring Road and easy to find. Sometimes we have to work late into the night if a big job comes in at the last minute. The lights in the shop stay on and you can hear the sound of welding or grinding. We just do what needs to be done to keep the business going. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know.
