Shree Rang Avadhut Engineers

Working out of Pandesara in the Karelibaug Industrial Estate 8 is exactly what you’d expect for an engineering spot. Shree Rang Avadhut Engineers is filled with the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We have some heavy machinery that takes up most of the space, leaving only narrow paths to walk through. It’s loud, and you usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the grinders. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from years of work. We aren't really the type of place where you’d wear a clean suit. Most of us have uniforms that have seen better days. Being in Industrial Estate 8 means we are surrounded by other shops doing similar heavy work. We handle a lot of different parts and sometimes we have to spend all day just getting one piece of metal to the right shape. It’s honest work, and it’s what we are good at doing. The heat in Pandesara can be tough in May, but we just keep the big fans blowing and keep moving. We don't have a fancy front office with a receptionist. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk into the workshop and find someone who isn't currently running a machine. It’s just a straightforward engineering shop where the work comes first and everything else is secondary. That is how we have always run things here in the estate.
