You can find us at Shop 2116 in the Vankar Textile Market. We are right by the Salasar gate, which is usually a mess of rickshaws and delivery bikes. It makes getting here a bit of a headache sometimes, but that's just Begampura for you. The shop itself is okay, not too big and not too small. We have a lot of stuff crammed into the shelves on the walls. Most days are just a cycle of opening up, checking what arrived on the trucks, and then trying to find space for it all. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know the inventory. The Ring Road is always humming with noise, so you get used to the constant sound of the city while you work. We handle a mix of things, some for daily use and some a bit nicer for special days. We don’t do big fancy ads. People usually find us because they were already in the market for something else. The air conditioning works when it wants to, so we keep the fans going all the time. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting rolls and measuring out what people need. We close up when the market gets quiet, usually after dark. It’s a steady life here near the gate. We just try to keep the shop running and make sure people find what they need without too much trouble.
