We've been based at 6046 in Ambaji Market for quite some time now. If you know the Kamela Road area, you know how busy it gets every single morning with the trucks and the laborers moving things around. Sudev Fashion is basically just us working through piles of clothes and making sure things get where they need to go. The shop isn't fancy, just a lot of shelves and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. Most days it’s just the sound of packing tape and people shouting outside in the market. We spend most of our time dealing with the local traders who come by to see what’s new in the bundles. The stairs up to our unit can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying a heavy load, but we are used to it by now. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just how Ambaji Market is. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and answer the phone when it rings. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break for five minutes before getting back to the orders. It’s simple work, really. We just handle the fashion items and try to keep everything organized so we don’t lose track of the stock. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we make it work even when things get hectic.
