Status Tours & Travels

Status Tours & Travels is based in Shop No C 78 inside Aagam Arcade. We are located on Vesu Main Road, which is a really developing part of Surat. I started this because I like helping people figure out how to get from one place to another. We handle a lot of train bookings and some bus tickets too. It’s not a very big office, just a desk, a few chairs for people to sit while they wait, and my computer. Vesu is always busy, so there is usually someone walking in to ask about ticket prices. I spend a lot of time on the phone checking schedules and confirming seats. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait for the page to load, but that's just part of it. I try to explain the different routes clearly so people don't get confused. We don't do fancy vacation packages with umbrellas and drinks. It’s mostly just getting people where they need to go for work or to visit family. The arcade can get a bit crowded on Saturdays, so it’s better to come during the week if you can. I’ve lived in Surat for twenty years, so I know the area pretty well. My nephew helps me with the paperwork sometimes when it gets too much. We just try to be accurate with the dates and times. It’s a simple job but it keeps us busy every day.
