Star Galaxy Laces

Star Galaxy Laces is tucked away on the first floor at 6/599 in Moti Sheri. If you've been around the Lal Darwaja area, you know those narrow lanes can be a bit confusing at first. We like being upstairs because it’s a little bit away from the main noise of the street, though you can still hear the scooters and people passing by all day. Our work is pretty straightforward. We deal with laces all day long. The room is usually full of different rolls and scraps. It’s not the biggest place, but it works for what we do. We spend hours just going through things and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes friends from the neighboring shops drop by for a quick tea. It’s a tight-knit community here in Moti Sheri. We aren't some big corporation with fancy desks; we just have our tables and our stock. Lal Darwaja is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this area for years. The light coming through the windows in the morning is nice for seeing the details of the laces. We just do our bit and keep the business going one day at a time. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be part of the local scene here. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes but we know where everything is kept.
