Soni The Fashion Store

This store is on Katargam-Singanpor Road, specifically at 2 Vihar Krupa Residency in the Ranchod Nagar Society. It’s near Dhanmora Valinath Chowk and opposite the Tirupati Flats in Katargam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s a good location for us. We have been here for a while, selling different types of fashion items. The shop is on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to walk in off the street. It gets quite busy around the chowk, especially in the evenings. We keep the shelves stocked with whatever we can get our hands on that looks good. There’s always a pile of clothes that needs folding or tagging. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just written down in our ledgers. The fans stay on all day to keep the heat away. Sometimes we stand outside the door just to watch the traffic go by when things are slow. Katargam is a lively neighborhood and we feel like a part of it. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to sell our items and make enough to keep the lights on and the stock coming in. It’s a lot of hours, but that’s just how it is when you run a local store. Everything stays simple and we just take each day as it comes.
