The clinic is located in Kadodara inside the Amey Chintamani Society at building number 1. It’s a residential area so it feels much more peaceful than the town center. We have a small waiting room with a few plastic chairs and some old magazines on a table. The floor is tiled and I try to keep it as clean as possible throughout the day. I spend my hours seeing people from the society and the nearby streets. Most people come in with common things like a cough or just needing a checkup. The room where I sit has a large desk and a cabinet for all the files. We don’t use a lot of fancy digital systems here; we still like the paper records because they are easy to grab. It gets a bit quiet in the middle of the afternoon when everyone is resting. I usually use that time to catch up on paperwork or tidy the medicine cabinet. The windows look out onto the society grounds so you can hear the kids playing outside sometimes. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. People know they can just walk in and wait their turn. I’ve been here long enough that I know most of the families by name. It’s a good feeling to be part of the local community like this.
