Skyblue Fashion

Our business, Skyblue Fashion, is located at number 35 in the Laxmi Tiles Compound. We are right by Umiya Chowk on A K Road. This area is quite busy with various small industries and workshops. The compound itself has a lot of different businesses, so there’s always people coming and going. Our unit is basically a large room where we keep all our supplies and do the work. It’s not a polished showroom. We have stacks of fabric and boxes piled up against the walls. We do our own sorting and checking to make sure everything is okay before it goes out. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, but we try to keep the place as clean as we can. It’s just a few of us here, and we handle everything ourselves from answering the phone to loading the trucks. A K Road can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to time our deliveries for the quieter parts of the day. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some fans to keep the air moving. It’s an honest, simple setup. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the work gets done and the orders are right, we are happy. We often grab lunch from the small stalls near Umiya Chowk and talk shop with the other owners who work nearby.
