Siya Creation

Our shop, Siya Creation, is situated at B-142 in the Padmavati Textile Market on Ring Road, specifically in the Kumarwada area. It’s a bit of a maze in here if you aren't familiar with the layout. We have a lot of neighbors who are all doing similar things, so the competition is always right there next to us. We spend our hours surrounded by stacks of textiles. The B-wing gets a decent amount of foot traffic, but it can still be quiet on some Tuesday afternoons. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to suppliers or trying to track down a missing bundle. It’s a lot of paperwork mixed with physical labor. The floors are a bit uneven in some spots, so you have to watch your step. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a few personal items. The market noise is just background music to us now. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know how to handle the busy seasons when everyone is shouting and trying to get their goods moved at the same time. Kumarwada has a specific feel to it, a bit old-school and very busy. We just keep our heads down and work through the piles of fabric until the day is done. It’s nothing fancy, just our daily life in the market. We just focus on the task in front of us.
