Silvesa Fashion

Our shop is tucked away in Ankur Society, right near the Mini Bazar in Varachha. If you know the A. K. Road area, you know it gets incredibly busy, especially in the evenings. We have units 16 and 17. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work for Silvesa Fashion. We started this because we wanted to be our own bosses, and this neighborhood felt right. There’s always someone walking by or a bike zooming past. We spend a lot of time unpacking bags and checking the fabric. It’s dusty work sometimes. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we're too busy with the orders to worry about that right now. We drink a lot of chai while we work. The neighbors are good people, we all help each other out when the delivery trucks block the narrow lanes. Sometimes customers get lost looking for us because the society layout is a bit confusing, but they eventually find the door. We don't do much advertising; most people just hear about us from someone else who bought something here. We don't have a website that works well, so people just come in person. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but that’s better than being empty. We just try to be honest and do a decent job every day so we can stay in business.
