Siddhi Ceramics

We’ve been here at Pandesara for quite a while now. If you know the Piyush Point area, you know it gets busy during the day. Siddhi Ceramics is just a spot where we keep all the tiles and ceramic items stacked up. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Mostly, people from around the neighborhood just drop in when they are fixing up their bathrooms or kitchens. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, but we try to keep the displays somewhat clean so you can see the patterns. There’s a lot of loading and unloading happening out front. We spend most of our mornings checking the stock and talking to the guys who do the tiling work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. Sometimes the sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, making it a bit hot inside, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. Most people find us because they’re already near Piyush Point for other work. We don't really do big ads. We just open up, rearrange the samples, and wait for the next person to walk in with a measurement tape in their hand. It’s a simple way of working. Usually, we are just drinking tea and discussing which truck is coming in next with more boxes. It’s a regular shop life here in this part of town. We just handle the ceramic stuff and try to get through the day's list.
