Finding us is easy enough on Lambe Hanuman Road, right by Murdha Kendra and opposite Gakul Chowk. Our spot is in the Cycle Vitthal Nagar area of Varachha, which is a lively neighborhood. Shyam Fashion Wear is just a local business. We aren't some big brand you see on billboards. We’re just a shop on the street. The front of the shop is usually covered with whatever is new or on sale. We don't have a professional decorator. We just hang things where they fit. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, but with people coming in all day, it's a challenge. We know a lot of the families around here. They stop by to see what’s new for the kids or for themselves. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. If you like it, you buy it. If not, we just chat for a bit. It’s a very relaxed way of doing things. Sometimes we have a fan going because it gets hot in the afternoons. It’s not a fancy air-conditioned mall experience. It’s just a regular shop where we do our best. We’ve been part of this street for quite some time and we like the vibe here. People in Varachha are friendly enough once they get to know you. We just keep our head down and keep the shop open for whoever needs us.
