Shukrana International

Shukrana International is down in the basement of the Jeevandeep Market. It’s unit B-15. Being in a basement market on Ring Road means it can get a bit stuffy, but it’s where we’ve been for quite a while. We’re right near Nirmal Hospital, so that’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a busy part of town, always lots of cars and people moving around outside. Down here in the market, it’s a different world. There are lots of shops side by side. Our space is filled with whatever we’re working on at the moment. We don’t have any big windows or a view, just the lights overhead and the work in front of us. We aren't a big, polished company with a PR department. It’s just a few of us making sure everything gets done. We handle international stuff, so there’s a lot of coordination involved. Sometimes things get delayed or plans change, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We try to keep a cool head and keep moving forward. The market life suits us. It’s grounded and real. We don't use fancy talk or try to impress anyone. We just focus on the boxes, the paperwork, and getting everything where it needs to go. That’s what a typical day looks like for us here. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
