Shruti Damor

I’m located over at 10A Arjav Apts-2, which is just behind Sarjan Society in the Citylight area of Surat. It’s a nice part of the city to be in. Being in an apartment means the work happens in a more personal setting. There are usually sounds of the city drifting up, but the building itself stays fairly calm. Shruti Damor is the name on the door. I’ve set up a small workspace here where I handle all the things that need doing. It’s not a huge office with rows of employees. It’s just me and maybe someone helping out now and then. The space is filled with books, some folders, and a laptop that’s seen a lot of use. Citylight is a busy area, so there’s always something happening just a few streets away. I like being close to the action but having this quiet corner to return to. The light in the morning is quite good for working. I don’t follow a strict corporate schedule; I just start when the sun comes up and keep going until the work is finished. It’s a simple setup, but it’s mine. I know the security guard at the gate and the people in the neighboring flats. It’s a comfortable way to live and work without all the pressure of a big commercial office. Just a regular person doing her thing.
