Shree Sai Creation

Our shop is located in the basement at number 131 of the Shiv Darsha Textile Market. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the upper floors, but we don't get any natural light. We've got plenty of tube lights to compensate. It’s on the Ring Road, so the area is always congested with traffic and people. We work on various creations here. It’s a lot of manual sorting and packing. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floor has some cracks, but it doesn't affect the business. We have rolls of cloth and finished pieces piled up on the tables. My brother and I run the place most of the time. We know where every single item is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. It gets dusty down here, so we have to clean the shelves often. We usually get our tea from the stall right outside the market entrance. Dealing with customers is the main part of the day. Some are easy to work with and some take a lot of time. We just take it as it comes. Working in a textile market like Shiv Darsha means you're part of a big community of traders. We don't really have a website or anything like that, we just stay here in the basement and do our thing.
