Shree Raj Impex

Our place is P-928 in the Old GIDC area of Katargam. If you have ever been to the GIDC, you know it is all about business and manufacturing. We have a decent-sized unit where we handle our import and export work. It is not a glamorous job at all. There is a lot of paperwork, checking containers, and making sure the labels are correct before they leave. We started Shree Raj Impex because we saw an opportunity in the trade here in Katargam. It is a busy hub, and being in the Old GIDC keeps us close to everyone else we deal with. The building is very basic, just sturdy walls and a roof to keep the goods safe from the rain. We do not have a fancy lobby or air conditioning in every corner. We just focus on the logistics and the shipping dates. Sometimes things go wrong with the transport or the weather, and we just have to stay late and deal with it. We are not into using big words to describe what we do. We buy things, we sell things, and we move them from one place to another. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who know the trade well. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at inventory sheets. It is practical work for practical people.
