In the middle of Udhna, things are always moving fast, and at Shree Ganesh Sales Agency, we’re right in the thick of it. This place is more about boxes and registers than anything else. We spend a lot of our morning just unloading crates and checking lists to make sure everything arrived like it was supposed to. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of tape dispensers or the big trucks backing up outside. We sell a variety of goods, and most of the time the floor is covered in bubble wrap or cardboard scraps. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we’re always dusting off the stock. It’s just me and a few guys who have been working together for years. We don't have a fancy front desk; it’s just a wooden table with a lot of papers on it. People come in looking for specific items for their own businesses or homes, and we spend time digging through the back to find exactly what they need. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, but we usually sort it out by the end of the day. It’s hard work on your feet all day, and my back usually hurts by the time we close up the shutters, but it’s what we do. We don't try to act like we’re some huge corporation, just a local agency getting stuff moved.
