Our place is at P 233 in the Old GIDC area. We are right near the Dudhwala Compound on Fulpada Road. The area around Fulpadan is mostly filled with workshops and small factories. It’s a dusty part of town, especially when the wind picks up off the main road. Our unit is basically one large room where we do everything. We don't have a separate office or a break room. We just have our workstations set up where the light is best. The building itself has seen better days, with some cracks in the plaster and a heavy metal door that squeaks every time you open it. We’ve tried oiling the hinges, but it doesn't seem to help for long. We spend our days here working on our creations, surrounded by tools and materials. There’s always a radio playing somewhere in the background, usually just the local news or some music. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. We just show up, do the work, and go home. The Dudhwala Compound is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles coming and going. We keep our space as neat as possible, but in this line of work, a little bit of a mess is just part of the process. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure each task is finished before we close up for the night and head back out to the street.
