Shiv Om Fashion

We set up Shiv Om Fashion behind One Cinema, just off JP Road and near the Ring Road area. It is a handy location because people coming from the movies often wander over to see what we have. The shop is tucked away a little bit, so you have to look for the sign. We have a mix of clothes, mostly things that younger people like to wear these days. The shop isn't very large, and we have to stack the boxes pretty high in the back room. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific size when someone asks, but we eventually get there. We don't have any professional models or anything like that for our clothes. We just put them on the hangers and hope people like the look of them. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but the inside of the shop is dry and bright enough. We have a small radio playing in the corner most of the day to keep us company. It’s just me and one other person working the floor. We try to be helpful, but we don't hover over people while they browse. People in this part of town are usually in a hurry, so we try to keep the billing quick. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We are usually here from ten in the morning until nine at night because the area stays busy.
