Creative India Surat

In Sayan, things move at their own speed. Our place, Creative India Surat, is located at No. 204 in the Anjani Industries area. If you know Surat, you know it’s all about textiles. We are part of that whole world. The industrial park where we are is always buzzing with trucks and workers. Inside our unit, it smells like new fabric and a bit of machine oil. It’s a honest way to earn a living. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job. We don't have a big front desk or anyone in a suit. Most of us are in old clothes because you’re going to get dusty anyway. We spend our time checking the looms or looking at the print quality on the saris and dress materials. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the roads around Sayan a bit of a mess, but we still show up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the threads move back and forth, but you have to pay attention or things go wrong. We try to keep things organized, but when a big order comes in, the floor gets covered in scraps pretty fast. It’s a busy life, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the production done, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about things.
