Satyam Travel

We are tucked away in the underground section of the River Palace building. It’s in the Nanpura area of Surat, right across from the Old Civil Court. Being underground is actually quite nice because it stays a bit cooler down here when the sun is really hitting the pavement outside. You have to walk down the stairs to find shop number 8. Satyam Travel is a quiet little spot compared to the main road above. We spend our days looking at travel schedules and talking to people who walk down to see us. Some people have been coming to this same office for years. We know their names and where they usually like to go. The walls have a few posters of places people visit, though they are getting a bit faded now. We don't use any flashy gadgets; just the standard office setup. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of bags or deliveries sitting around, but we manage. Nanpura is an old part of the city, and our office feels like it fits right in with the surrounding buildings. We don't go for anything modern or sleek. It’s just a place to get your travel business handled by people who have been doing it in this basement for a long time. When the court is in session, it gets busy with people coming and going, but we just stay focused on the bookings. It's a steady way to spend the day.
