Our place is out at Surat Apparel Park, specifically Plot No. 35 on Road No. 2. It’s a bit of a drive out toward Sachin on the Palsana Road. Most people who work here are used to the commute by now. It is more of a production environment than a shop. We have the machines running and people busy with the cutting and stitching. It gets quite loud during the day, but that's what happens when you're making things. The area is mostly industrial, so there are trucks moving around constantly and other factories nearby. Sarthak Creation has been at this location for some time. We aren't really set up for visitors who want to browse, since we are mostly focused on the manufacturing side of things. The office part is just a few desks tucked away near the front. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, and we are always cleaning up scraps of fabric from the floor. It is honest work, and we stay pretty focused on meeting our deadlines. The weather out here in Sachin can get really hot, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. It's a straightforward operation. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays, just the plot number and the work we do inside every day. It feels like we are part of the landscape out here now.
