Sarkar Super Store

Sarkar Super Store is on the ground floor of Fatema Tower on Gorat Adajan Road. We are quite close to the Rander Causeway Road in the Adajan Dn area of Surat. The shop is usually a bit hectic because of the location. We have aisles that are narrow because we try to stock as much variety as possible. From cleaning supplies to snacks and bottled drinks, everything has its spot, even if it's a bit crowded. The lights are a little flickery in the back corner, but we haven't gotten around to fixing the bulb yet. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving items from the storage area to the front shelves. The heat in Surat can be quite something, so the cold drink fridge is usually the most popular spot in the store. We have a small counter where we handle the payments and we usually have a radio playing some music or the news in the background. We know a lot of the people who live in Fatema Tower and the surrounding buildings because they are in here almost every day. It's a lot of manual work, checking the stock and cleaning the glass cases. Sometimes the delivery trucks come at the same time and the sidewalk gets completely blocked with crates. We just manage it one box at a time and keep things moving as best as we can for everyone.
