Sargam Fashion

Sargam Fashion is located in the New Bombay Market in the Umarwada area of Surat. Specifically, we are at A-2106 on the first floor. If you know the 395010 zip code area, you know how crowded and lively these markets can get. It’s a massive building and we are just one shop among many. Being on the first floor means we are away from the ground level chaos, but it’s still very busy. We have been here for quite a while, and the shop is filled to the brim with different fashion items. It’s a small space, so we have to be very clever about how we stack things. Sometimes it feels like the walls are made of fabric because there’s so much of it. The market itself is a bit of a maze, and it can be quite loud with everyone shouting and carts moving around. We don't have any big marketing slogans. We just open the shutters in the morning and start our day. We know a lot of the other sellers in New Bombay Market, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. It’s a real community of workers here. We do our best to keep things tidy, but in a busy market like Umarwada, there’s always a bit of a mess. It’s just the way things are, and we wouldn't have it any other way. It is just a simple shop.
