Sanvari Fashion

We are over at 410 Anupam Plaza. It’s right across from Creation Plaza. The area is always pretty busy because it’s on the road from Bombay Market to Punagam, near Aai Mata Road. We do fashion here, mostly clothes for women. Our shop is one of many in the plaza, but we’ve got our own way of doing things. It’s a small space, so we have to be very careful about how much stock we put out on the floor at once. My sister helps me with the displays, though they aren't always perfect or straight. We get a lot of foot traffic from people walking between the various markets. The stairs in the plaza can be a bit steep, but people don’t seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and helping them find something that fits their style. We don't use any big words or marketing tricks. We just show them what we have on the racks. Sometimes the deliveries are a few days late, and we have to explain that to the regulars. It’s just how it is. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. It’s a tough business because styles change so fast, but we try to keep up. We close on Sundays usually, unless it’s the holiday season and everyone is out shopping. It’s a modest little shop. We are just regular people who enjoy being around clothes and helping the locals find something they like. The plaza gets really crowded in the evenings.
