Nk Fashions

Nk Fashions is located on the 3rd floor of the Jariwala Building. The address is No. 7/1857 in Saiyyad Pura Tunki. Climbing those three flights of stairs every morning definitely keeps us awake. The building is an older one, and it has a lot of character, though the hallway can be a bit dark sometimes. Once you get up to our floor, though, there is plenty of room for us to spread out. We have a good view of the street from the windows, and we can see the neighborhood waking up as we start our first shift. The space is filled with the sound of sewing machines and the occasional clatter of something being moved. We have a small corner where we keep the finished goods before they are taken downstairs. It’s a simple setup with a few sturdy tables and plenty of thread in every color you can imagine. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area because we are usually too busy working to sit around. Most of the people here have been doing this for years, so we all know our roles pretty well. We just try to get through the day’s tasks and make sure everything is ready by the time the sun goes down and we lock up. It is a long day but we get it done.
