If you head down to G.I.D.C. Sachin and find Road No. 87, you’ll see us at Plot No. 992. Saini Diesel Power Service Pvt. Ltd. has been set up here for a while, right in the heart of the industrial estate. It’s a large plot, which is good because we need the space for the big diesel sets and the heavy components we work on. The air around here usually smells like exhaust and metal, which is pretty typical for an industrial zone like Sachin. We don’t have any fancy showrooms or anything like that. It’s mostly just a large shed and a lot of heavy lifting. The guys here spend their time checking valves, cleaning out fuel systems, and making sure everything is bolted down right. We deal with a lot of different people from the surrounding factories who need their power systems looked at. It’s a lot of manual labor and sometimes the hours get a bit long when a job is tough. We don’t really mind though. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Being in the G.I.D.C. means we are surrounded by people doing similar things, so there’s a sense of community among the shops. We just keep our heads down and focus on the engines sitting in front of us. It’s what we know how to do best. We get the job done and prepare for the next one.
