Sainath Textile Co

You can find Sainath Textile Co over in Adajan, Surat, specifically in the Green Avenue Building. We are on the fifth floor, flat B/2 503. It’s a busy area near the Jalaram Mandir, so there is always some movement and the sound of bells in the morning. L.P. Savani Road is right there, and it gets quite crowded with traffic in the evenings. We’ve been operating from this apartment for a bit. It’s a mix of a home and a workplace, which is how many of us do things around here. The rooms are usually full of fabric samples and different types of thread. There isn't much space to walk sometimes when a new shipment comes in. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the weaves and talking to folks in the industry. The weather in Surat can get pretty humid, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed. It isn't a glossy showroom with bright lights. It's just a functional space where we keep track of orders and talk to weavers. Sometimes we sit on the balcony for a minute just to see the street below. We know most of the people in the building. It’s a decent place to be, and we just focus on getting the daily work finished. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up and do what needs doing every day.
