Sai Sevek Travels

If you go behind Gandhi Smruti Bhavan in the Timaliwadi area, you’ll find us at Sai Sevek Travels. We are in A/3 Sahyadri Appartment. It’s a ground-level sort of setup in the building. Being in this part of Surat, specifically the 395001 area, means we are right in the middle of things but tucked away a little bit. We’ve been running this travel desk for a while. The office has a few desks and some old calendars on the wall. We spend our time talking to people about their travel plans, whether they are going far or just to the next town over. It’s not a big fancy place, but it serves the purpose. We know the area behind Gandhi Smruti Bhavan very well. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the exact apartment, but once they do, they usually come back the next time they need a ticket. We try to be straightforward with everyone. There’s no big secret to what we do, we just look up the options and tell people what’s available. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the computer. It’s a bit cramped when too many people come in at once, but we manage. We like being in Timaliwadi because it’s a central spot and easy for people to reach after they finish their work in the city.
