We've been tucked away here at Rushbha Textile Market for quite a few years now. Our spot is number 161, right on the busy Ring Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the trucks and people moving around. Most mornings start with us opening the shutters and trying to clear some space. The shop is filled with all sorts of fabrics and readymade stuff. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, and we end up tripping over rolls of cloth. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or anything, just a basic shop where we do our work. We mostly deal with regular customers who have been coming to this market for ages. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and the shelves are a little dusty, but that’s just how it is in a textile hub. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us making sure orders get sorted out. The Ring Road traffic is always loud in the background while we talk to people. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past 161. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and counting stock. We just take it day by day. Nothing too complicated or formal about how we run things here. We often drink tea while looking at the new designs that come in. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
