You will find us on the first floor of Jay Anand Estate, at number 50. It is located in the Anjana Farm area of Dumbhal. It is an older building, so it has some character, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you are not used to them. We have been working out of this space for quite a while now. It is mostly a wholesale kind of setup, so there are piles of fabric and finished garments almost everywhere you look. It is not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work through the piles. The windows are small, so we do not get much natural light, but we have got enough bulbs to see what we are doing. There are three of us who work here regularly. We do not have a receptionist or anyone like that; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. Most of our days are spent checking orders and getting them ready for delivery. The area around Anjana Farm is always busy with tempos and rickshaws, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a chore. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep up with the work. It is a simple operation, nothing too fancy for us.
