Our shop is located in the New Bombay Market, specifically units B 305 to 310. Being in Umarwada means we are right in the middle of all the market action. The area is always loud and there is a lot of shouting and people moving things around, especially during the peak morning hours. We have a few units joined together so we have a bit more space than some of the other shops, but it still fills up very fast with all the clothes we keep. We spend a lot of our time unpacking heavy boxes and hanging things up on the racks. It is a family-run thing, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter or folding clothes in the back. The air conditioning in the market is not always the best, so it gets quite warm during the summer months. We do not bother with fancy lighting or those modern displays you see in the big malls. We just have racks and racks of clothes for people to look through. People come here to find a good deal and we try to give them that. Sometimes the floors get a bit dirty from all the foot traffic, but we sweep up whenever we get a quiet moment. It is a lot of work keeping up with what is popular each season, but we do our best. We have been in this market for years.
