Sadguru Engineering & Plastic Works

Sadguru Engineering & Plastic Works is located over in Udhna 1st Main, 3rd Cross, Maruthinagar 21. If you come by, you’ll hear the sounds of the machines before you even see the door. We do a lot of different types of work involving plastics and basic engineering. It’s a messy job and my hands are usually covered in some kind of grease or dust by noon. The workshop is organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks like a bit of a muddle to someone else. We have been working out of this space for years and we know exactly where every tool is kept. The heat from the machines makes the shop quite warm in the summer so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through Maruthinagar. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing materials. Most of our work comes from people who have been here before or someone who told them about us. It is hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big project to finish. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to make sure everything is sturdy. It’s not a glamorous life but there is a certain satisfaction in making things with your own hands. We just keep our heads down and get the job done day after day.
