Our office is way up on the tenth floor of Sky-View Towers. Being at unit 1005 gives us a pretty good view of the Adajan area, though we spend more time looking at computer screens than out the window. We are located right behind Sneh-Sankul Wadi, which is a place everyone in Surat seems to know. Getting to work involves waiting for the elevator at Anand-Mahal Road, which can take forever during the morning rush. Once we are up here, it’s all about travel plans. We deal with buses, trains, and flights all day. It gets a bit chaotic when someone’s flight is delayed or a bus doesn't show up on time. We are just a small group of people sitting at desks trying to make sure people get where they are going. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge or anything. There are some travel brochures stacked up in the corner and a map on the wall that’s a bit outdated. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all have to take a break and wait for it to come back so we can book more tickets. People come in with their families to talk about vacations, and the office gets loud with everyone talking at once. It’s a practical business. We use simple tools and work hard to keep the details straight for every traveler who walks through our door.
