Our place, S M Rubbers & Polymers, is tucked away in the Pandesara Service Complex at unit 18. It’s an industrial area, so it’s usually noisy with machines and trucks moving around. We work with various types of rubber and polymer materials here. The air usually smells like burnt rubber or chemicals, which you get used to after a few days. It is a practical space, mostly filled with raw materials and finished parts waiting to go out. We don't have a fancy front office or anything. Most of our day is spent handling the production side of things. It’s a lot of heat and manual handling. The service complex is a busy spot with lots of other small workshops nearby. Sometimes we talk to the neighbors when things slow down. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Our floor is always covered in some sort of scrap or dust from the process. It’s hard work and it gets quite hot in the afternoons under the roof. We focus on getting the orders done and making sure the dimensions are right. People come to us when they need specific rubber parts made. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend much on decorating the place because it's just a workshop. We just keep the machines running and the work moving along as best as we can.
