A P Rubber Industries

Our place, A P Rubber Industries, is located at number 58 in Pandesara on Char Street. We are inside the Ashoka Shopping Center, which is quite easy to spot because the State Bank of India is right next door. Being near a bank means there are always people moving around outside. Our shop is mostly filled with different kinds of rubber goods and materials. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, so you will often see some dust on the floor or some scraps of rubber near the cutting table. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a new shipment in and have to find a place for all the crates. I have worked here for a long time and I know every corner of this shop. We have a few machines that can be quite loud when they are running, so we usually have to raise our voices a bit to talk. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. There are just two old plastic chairs if someone needs to sit down for a minute. We focus on getting the orders ready for the people who come in. The smell of rubber is quite strong here, but after a while, you don't even notice it anymore. We use a simple ledger to keep track of our sales and it works well for us. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of business and we like keeping it that way.
