Royal Stone

Royal Stone is based in Chudel Village. We are part of the Mandvi Taluka. It is a quiet place compared to the big industrial parks. Being in a village means we know our neighbors and everyone knows where the stone yard is. We work with stone, so the yard is full of different sizes and types of rock. It’s a heavy job. We spend most of the day outdoors in the yard. The sun can be very strong, so we wear hats and try to find shade when we can. Working in Chudel is peaceful in its own way. You can hear the birds and the occasional tractor. We have a few machines to help with the lifting and cutting, but a lot of it is just manual labor. The ground is always uneven and covered in stone dust. Our office is just a small room at the edge of the property. It has a desk and some chairs, nothing more. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us locals. People from Mandvi Taluka come to us when they need stone for their projects. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The village life suits us well. It’s a simple operation where we just focus on the stone. There aren't many distractions out here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families in the village. It is a lot of hard work but it keeps us going in Chudel.
