Royal Fiber & Aluminium Glass

The shop is located at shop number three in the Devi Shree Apartment building. Being so close to Vidyakunj School means there is always a lot of noise and activity out on Palanpur Jakat Naka Road during the day. We spend a good amount of time just wiping down the glass because the dust from the street seems to settle on everything the moment you finish cleaning it. It is a small place, mostly filled with stacks of fiber sheets and different types of aluminum sections. Usually, the morning starts with checking what orders came in and seeing if we have enough material left in the back corner. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or local contractors who need a window fixed or a small partition for an office. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or anything like that. We have a couple of old chairs for when someone wants to sit and talk through a job. Sometimes we are out on a site for half the day, so the shop might be quiet for a few hours. The floor is usually covered in tiny silver shavings from the saws. We just keep our heads down and handle the measurements as they come. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We just keep the fan going and try to stay on top of the list of things to do before closing up for the night.
