D K Aluminium & Glass

Our shop is No. 119 and we are located right at the Palanpur Jakat Naka. It is a busy area in Adajan on the Pal Road, and we are right across from the Sarita Darshan Apartment. D K Aluminium & Glass is a place where we spend the whole day surrounded by shiny frames and big sheets of glass. You have to be careful where you step because there are always tiny bits of glass on the floor even though we sweep a lot. The Nutan Raw House is right there too so we get a lot of people from the nearby houses coming in to ask about window repairs or getting a mirror cut. It is a bright shop because the glass reflects all the light coming in from the street. We have a cutting table that takes up most of the middle section and racks along the walls for the aluminum sections. Sometimes the traffic on Pal Road is so loud we can barely hear each other talk. We usually have a few frames leaning against the wall waiting to be picked up. It is just a few of us working here and we keep it pretty simple. The rainy season is always busy because people realize their windows are leaking. We just do the best we can with the space we have and try to keep the glass from breaking.
