Roshni Fashions

Our shop, Roshni Fashions, is at A-18 in Shiv Sai Shakti Nagar. It’s right off Karadwa Road in Dindoli, which is a very busy area near Udhna. We are located near Madhav Complex, so you have to watch the signs or you might miss our door. The space inside is quite small. We pack it full of different clothes. Folding fabrics and tidying the shelves takes up most of our morning hours. Those white walls could use some fresh paint, but we are always too busy working to deal with it. My sister comes in to help when the big wholesalers send over a new shipment of boxes. Our ceiling fan makes a clicking sound. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. Dindoli is a noisy neighborhood, but inside the shop, things feel a bit calmer. We keep all our records in a ledger and sometimes the ink smears if it’s a humid day. High-end displays aren't really our thing. We just focus on selling clothes to the people who live nearby in Udhna. Usually, the regulars stop in for a chat while they look around. We keep the lights a bit low to save on the electricity bill, but it’s enough to see the colors clearly. By the time the sun sets, we are usually ready to close the doors. It's a simple, honest way to make a living. We just do our work and go home.
