So, we are over here at Jash Market, right on the Upper Ground floor at shop 589. It is usually pretty busy around the Ring Road area. Most days start early with us opening up the shutters and checking what came in the night before. The stacks of clothes are everywhere and sometimes it feels like we are just moving piles from one corner to the other. People come in looking for stuff and we just show them what we have on the racks. It’s not fancy or anything. It's just a shop where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit in the back hallway but we got used to that a long time ago. We've been in this spot for a while now. The Jash Market atmosphere is loud and there is always someone shouting about a delivery or a tea boy running past with a tray of glasses. We keep the fans running all day because it gets stuffy with all the fabric around. If you walk down the Ring Road, you can’t miss the building. It’s got that old market smell, a mix of new cloth and floor cleaner. We mostly just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody gets the wrong size. It’s honest work, even if our backs hurt by the end of the day from standing around. We don't really do much else besides this.
