R.K.Travels

We’re over in Surat, right near Sardar Bridge on Adajan Road. The office is inside Laljinagar Society at number 64. It’s a familiar spot for many people in this part of the city. We’ve been running R.K. Travels for quite a while now. Most days involve booking buses, sorting out car rentals, or helping people plan their trips across Gujarat. Adajan is always busy with traffic and people, so there’s a lot of energy around us. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just us doing the work day in and day out. We have plenty of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the papers, but we know where everything is. The noise from the bridge is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We take bookings over the phone or when people walk in after their shopping. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth in Surat is usually enough. People know where to find us when they need a ride or a ticket. We focus on getting the details right so nobody gets stuck somewhere they don't want to be. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the local community. We see a lot of regular faces coming back every season for their family trips. It feels good to know we are helping people get where they need to go without any big problems.
